In Memory of the Artist Who Wrote a Song on the Internet about Bananas in 2009

One day, white people will have their day in the sun, And when that day comes, We’ll know who to thank.

One day, white people will have their day in the sun,

And when that day comes,

We’ll know who to thank.

Now that this wise soul has passed away,

Let us remember his pontifications

From atop the ivory YouTube player.

All lives matter!

In saying black lives matter

Without mentioning white lives,

You’re marginalising white people.

As he spoke, he took up a firehose,

Ran past Harlem consumed by flames,

And fired a capital geyser onto

Fresh-mayonnaise Trump Towers.

All houses matter!

None of us knew.

What was going on in his head?

All we know is that,

With one-hundred-and-forty-character pills,

His career took its own life.

Family and friends have been stunned.

In this time of pain, we reach out

To those who may feel the way he felt.

If you ever want to be a white supremacist,

Remember that help is always available.
